Interactive Table

The below table lists each local authority, initially ordered by their score in the index. However, users can click on the column names to sort by the information in the respective columns. For example, if you would like to see which local authority performed best in the ‘Transparency’, ‘Accountability’ or ‘Ethics’ category, you can click on the respective heading to sort the table accordingly.

The index is composed of 30 indicators – 12 in the Transparency category; 10 in the Accountability category; and 8 in the Ethics category. Each local authority’s total score out of 30 was then converted into a percentage and rounded to the nearest whole number, which is in the ‘Overall Score’ column below. The ‘Transparency’, ‘Accountability’ and ‘Ethics’ columns show the percentages achieved for each of these categories. To see how the percentages were calculated, just hover your mouse over the percentage and a box will appear showing the number of points received in these categories.

Please note: the Transparency, Accountability and Ethics sub-scores do not indicate which authority is the most or least transparent, accountable or ethical, but instead which has the best systems and practices in place to ensure transparency, accountability and ethics.
