TI Ireland Gap Analysis on the Implementation of the UN Convention in Ireland 2006

07 December 2006

This document provides an overview of the steps that TI Ireland believes the Irish Government needs to take to ratify and implement the United Nations Convention against Corruption (UNCAC) in Ireland.

UNCAC is the first truly global convention against corruption and is an important legal framework from which governments, business and civil society can take action.

Ireland's ratification and implementation of UNCAC is critical if it is to make a lasting impact against corruption at home and if it is to encourage its partner countries in the developing world to do likewise.
